Adam Jackson

Adam Jackson is an Associate Professor of Law at Northumbria University and currently serves as Programme Leader of the M Law Exempting degree. Since 2010, he has been the Deputy Director of the Northumbria Centre for Evidence and Criminal Justice Studies. His work focuses on criminal justice, legal pedagogy, and digital evidence.

The articles reflect his focus on digital evidence, criminal procedure, forensic science, and legal reform with specific attention to EncroChat investigations, cyber policing, and expert testimony standards.

His scientific awards include:

• Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2009)
• Recognised by Advance HE as a National Fellow

Adam is the Case Note Editor of the Journal of Criminal Law (since 2012) and leads the NordForsk/ESRC funded research project on police detectives' use of the TOR-network. He is also part of the Science and Justice Research Interest Group at Northumbria University.
