Dr. Adam Csank is Associate Professor and Chair of the Geography Department at University of Nevada, Reno. His research uses tree rings and stable isotopes to reconstruct past climates.

- BSc in Earth Sciences, Dalhousie University, 2003
Research interests include paleoclimatology, dendrochronology, stable isotope geochemistry, and critical physical geography. Recent work examines climate reconstructions from Arctic fossil forests, impacts of insect outbreaks on hydrology, and historical timber provenance studies.
He teaches courses in physical geography, climate science, conservation, and paleoenvironments.
