Abigail R. Moncrieff

Abigail R. Moncrieff is an Associate Professor of Law and Political Science at Cleveland State University's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and co-director of the Center for Health Law and Policy. She teaches Constitutional Law, Contracts, and specialized seminars on freedom in American law and constitutional healthcare issues.

Her educational credentials include:

Dr. Moncrieff's research examines intersections of health law and constitutional theory through multidisciplinary lenses, addressing legal, political, and social dimensions of healthcare reform. Published in premier journals including Columbia Law Review and University of Pennsylvania Law Review, her current book project Constitutional Technocracy proposes a reconceptualization of America's constitutional framework.

As Center for Health Law and Policy co-director, she develops community-focused programming on healthcare law. Prior academic appointments include Harvard Law School, University of Pennsylvania Law School, NYU Law School, and University of Texas Department of Government.
