Abdullah Gök

Abdullah Gök is an Associate Professor at the University of Exeter Business School and holds Honorary Research Fellow positions at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research. He joined the University of Exeter in January 2024 after prior academic roles at Strathclyde Business School and Alliance Manchester Business School.

• Research focus on science and innovation policy, emerging technologies, and public policy strategy.
• Editorial roles include Associate Editor for Technological Forecasting and Social Change (2019–2024) and Editorial Board member for Scientific Data since 2022.
• Active in advisory committees for the European Union and OECD, with current leadership as an elected Board Member of the European Network of Indicator Designers.
