Abbie Thompson

Abbie Thompson is an Assistant Professor at Valparaiso University's Department of Psychological Sciences and Counseling. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame and specializes in cognitive development and language acquisition. Her research examines how infants' language input influences word learning mechanisms, with a focus on speaker variability and statistical learning processes.
