Aaron Teator

Aaron Teator serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kansas, actively contributing to the Chemical Biology program through research and mentorship.

His educational background includes:

• B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno
• Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin
• Postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Dr. Teator's research centers on chemical biology with emphasis on organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry applications. His work develops molecular tools to interrogate biological systems, focusing on structure-activity relationships and therapeutic targeting mechanisms through innovative synthetic methodologies.

He mentors graduate trainees within the Chemical Biology program, maintaining both current active researchers and former students.
