Since 2014 he has been serving as Yardımcı Doçent (Associate Professor) in the interventional cardiology and cardiovascular research unit.
Education:
- PhD / Medical Specialization in Internal Medicine (Cardiology), Mersin University Faculty of Medicine, 2006–2011
- MD, Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, 1999–2005
Research Interests:
- Interventional cardiology and primary PCI outcomes
- Cardiovascular biomarkers (CRP/albumin, NGAL, iNOS, malondialdehyde)
- Contrast-induced nephropathy and cardio-renal interactions
- Electrophysiology and risk stratification with ECG parameters (P-wave peak time, RS time, QRS-T angle)
- Systemic inflammation indices (SII, HALP, N/L ratio) in acute coronary syndromes
- Peripheral arterial disease and vascular interventions
Publication Trends: Dr Rencüzoğulları’s 166 peer-reviewed articles (2014-2024) concentrate on translational cardiology, integrating bedside biomarkers with interventional outcomes, and developing novel ECG-based risk scores. Recent work (2023-2024) emphasizes oxidative stress markers, immune-inflammation indices, and prognostic scores for STEMI, MINOCA, and peripheral artery disease.
