Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kavaz is a full-time Professor in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University's Faculty of Science and Letters. Previously, he held academic positions at Fırat University (1997-2021) and served as Dean at Bitlis Eren University (2013-2015). His academic journey includes a PhD in Modern Turkish Literature from Fırat University (1990), a Master's degree in the same field (1985), and a BA in Turkish Language and Literature from Atatürk University (1981).
His research focuses on:
- New Turkish Literature and its evolution
- Poetic analysis of figures like Necip Fazıl Kısakürek and Yahya Kemal Beyatlı
- Historical development of Turkish novels and short stories
