Prof. Dr. Özlem UZUNDEMİR is a faculty member at Çankaya University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of English Language and Literature, holding the rank of Professor since 2018. She previously served as Associate Professor (2012–2018) and Assistant Professor (1999–2012) at the same institution, and as Department Head since 2016. She earned her PhD (1996) and MA (1991) from Bilkent University and BA (1989) from Boğaziçi University in English Language and Literature.

Her research focuses on Literary Criticism, emphasizing Gender Studies, Visual Arts, and Postcolonial Literature. Her publications and supervised theses highlight themes like patriarchal critique, transhumanism in speculative fiction, and spatial memory in contemporary fiction.
As an editor for the Journal of American Studies of Turkey (2018), she contributes to academic discourse. Her collaborations, such as with Ali Özkan Çakırlar (2024), and international conference participation, underscore her engagement with interdisciplinary and comparative methodologies.
