ÁNGELA TABOADA PALOMARES

ÁNGELA TABOADA PALOMARES is a Professor at the Universidad de León, affiliated with the College of Biological and Environmental Sciences and the Department of Biodiversity and Environmental Management. She is part of the GEAT Applied Ecology and Remote Sensing research group, focusing on ecological applications in environmental monitoring and land-use analysis.

• Education: PhD in Ecology (2007) from Universidad de León
• Thesis: Carabid beetles (Coleoptera, Carabidae) in forested landscapes: an ecological basis for their use as indicators of land use and management

Her research spans ecology, biodiversity conservation, and remote sensing technologies for environmental assessment. She collaborates with supervisors Dr. José María Salgado Costas, Dr. María Reyes Tárrega García-Mares, and Dr. David Johannes Kotze.
