Jessica de Bloom is a Professor at the Department of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen. She holds adjunct professor titles from Tampere University (Finland) and has held research fellowships at the Academy of Finland. Her research focuses on the interplay between work and non-work life, employee well-being, and recovery processes. She has received grants from the Academy of Finland, Barmer GEK, and the Finnish Work Environment Fund. Education: PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology (Radboud University, 2012) Key Positions: Academy of Finland Research Fellow (2017–2022), Rosalind Franklin Fellow (University of Groningen, 2017–present) Her research has been featured in major media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Spiegel, and Helsingin Sanomat. She teaches 'Stress, Health and Sustainable Working Life' at the master’s level and supervises PhD candidates in work psychology and occupational health.
