Jodie Mozdzer Gil is a tenured Professor in the Department of Journalism at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). She serves as faculty adviser to the SCSU Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) chapter and co-adviser to the student magazine Crescent , with active involvement in promoting freedom of information and digital journalism education. Her affiliations include the Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information and the Society of Professional Journalists.
