Ragib Hasan is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on cybersecurity, with specialties in cloud security, IoT systems, digital forensics, and biomedical device security. He leads the Secure and Trustworthy Computing Lab (SECRETLab) and contributes to the UAB Center for Cyber Security and NIST Cloud Forensics Working Group. Education: M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. His awards include the NSF CAREER Award (2014), Google RISE Award (2013), and Deutsche-Welle Best of Blogs (2014) for his BanglaBraille initiative.
