Dr. Mark Carroll is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he has served since 2006. He directs the Environmental Science & Policy Program and focuses on sustainable turfgrass systems. PhD from Cornell University in Turfgrass Science MS and BS from Michigan State University in Soil Science Research Specializations: Water quality in turfgrass management, pesticide sorption to thatch, nutrient runoff reduction, and organic lawn care.
