Prof. Pieter Vansteenwegen is a full professor at KU Leuven's Faculty of Engineering Science, leading the Centre for Industrial Management/Traffic and Infrastructure (CIB) and chairing the KU Leuven Institute for Mobility (LIM). With a PhD in Operations Research (2008), he works on robust public transport systems, metaheuristics for logistics, and demand-responsive mobility solutions.
