Oksana Tokarchuk is an Assistant Professor at the Competence Centre in Tourism Management and Tourism Economics (TOMTE) within the Faculty of Economics and Management at Free University of Bolzano, Italy. Her research focuses on behavioral economics, consumer behavior, and tourism's impact on quality of life, with specialized work on mental budgeting and cultural event expenditure patterns. She holds a PhD in Economics and Management. Core Research Areas: Tourism economics, mental accounting, behavioral modeling, applied statistics, and urban cultural tourism development Key Publication Trends: Recent articles analyze pandemic-driven teleworking (2021), Christmas market spending behaviors (2015-2017), and tourism's effects on resident well-being.
