Hossein Farahmand is a Professor at the Department of Electric Energy, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and leads the Electricity Markets and Energy Systems Planning (EMESP) research group. He holds an Associate Editor role at IEEE Transactions on Energy Markets, Policy and Regulation and contributes to international initiatives like IEA Wind Task 25 and ISGAN Annex 9.
