Ansgar Jüngel is a Full Professor for Analysis of Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations at TU Wien, Austria. He leads the Institute of Analysis and Scientific Computing within the Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation. His research focuses on mathematical modeling, analysis, and numerical simulation of complex systems, particularly in semiconductor physics, quantum hydrodynamics, and biological transport phenomena. Jüngel holds a PhD from TU Berlin (1994) and habilitation (1997), with prior academic roles at University of Konstanz and University of Mainz.
