Dr Alexandru Cernat is a Senior Lecturer in Social Statistics at The University of Manchester, affiliated with the Cathie Marsh Institute. His research focuses on data collection methodologies, longitudinal data analysis, and measurement error reduction. He specializes in latent variable models, mixed mode surveys, and integrating digital trace data with traditional datasets.
