Karen Sokal-Gutierrez is a Clinical Professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health and Co-Director of the Interdisciplinary MPH program. She holds faculty roles in the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program and is affiliated with the Health Research for Action Center. Her expertise spans pediatrics, preventive medicine, and public health, with a focus on reducing health disparities in early childhood health and development globally. Education: BS from Yale University, MD from UCSF, and MPH from UC Berkeley. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
