Professor Joao Porto de Albuquerque is a Professor in Urban Analytics at the University of Glasgow's School of Social and Political Sciences, serving as Deputy Director of the Urban Big Data Centre (UBDC). He holds affiliate roles at the Centre for Research & Development in Adult and Lifelong Learning (CR&DALL) and previously led the Institute for Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick.
