Håkan Jönsson is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at Lund University's Faculty of Engineering, specifically within the Division of Food and Pharma. He is also a visiting professor in food studies at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Alnarp since 2021. His academic work bridges ethnology and food science, focusing on the cultural, social, and economic dimensions of food systems.
