Mariola Jaworska is a full professor of linguistics at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn , Poland, where she serves within the Institute of Linguistics, Department of Applied Linguistics , housed in the Faculty of Humanities . Actively supervising doctoral candidates, she is currently responsible for one PhD student and welcomes both Polish and international applicants to her research group. Her academic formation culminated in a Doctor of Humanities in linguistics , complemented by extensive research and teaching experience. Research interests revolve around the intersection of applied linguistics, foreign-language pedagogy and digital technologies . She focuses on: Optimisation of language-learning processes through digital tools; Individual learner differences and learning strategies; Acquisition of foreign languages by adolescents with dyslexia; Learner autonomy and personalised instruction; Assessment and inclusion of students with special educational needs; Specialist communication in business and professional contexts. Across nearly two decades of publication (2007-2025), her work consistently explores how affective, cognitive and contextual variables shape language learning, with a pronounced emphasis on inclusive methodologies and technology-enhanced instruction. Scientific recognition is evidenced by a Google-Scholar h-index of 4 and 41 citations, alongside authorship of the 2018 monograph „Nauczanie i uczenie się języków obcych młodzieży z dysleksją” and numerous peer-reviewed articles in Polish, German and English.
