Carolyn Zahler-Miller serves as Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Clinical Integration at Augusta University's Medical College of Georgia, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She directs the Ob/Gyn medical student clerkship and provides clinical care at downtown Augusta and Grovetown sites, specializing in abnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS, menopausal medicine, and breastfeeding optimization. Her educational background includes: MD, University of Florida, 2014 BS in Chemistry, University of Florida, 2010 Dr. Zahler-Miller's research focuses on women's health across the lifespan, with expertise in abnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS, menopausal disorders, breastfeeding medicine, HPV vaccination, and gestational diabetes. Her work integrates clinical practice with educational innovation to develop evidence-based interventions for patient care and physician training. Recent publications (2023-2025) demonstrate her commitment to translational research, spanning mobile health applications for breastfeeding support, RSV prevention in newborns, surgical decision-making in benign gynecology, menopausal sexual health therapies, and cost-effective surgical training models. These works highlight her dual focus on clinical outcomes and medical education advancement.
