Dr. Daniel Martin serves as an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator at the University of Western States (UWS), focusing on health scientific research methodology with expertise in machine learning, psychometrics, and Bayesian analysis. He holds a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) from the University of St. Augustine (2019) and an M.S. from Towson University (2012). His research spans occupational therapy regulation, mental health, esports psychology, pediatric assistive technology, and trauma-informed care. Martin’s work has been recognized with awards such as the Alpha Chi Prize for Empirical Research and Best Empirical Research accolades at Shenandoah University.
