Julia Richter is a Lecturer and Project Manager at the Lucerne School of Social Work, part of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). She is affiliated with the Institute for Social Pedagogy and Social Policy and the Kompetenzzentrum Prävention und Gesundheit (PuG). Her academic background includes a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich (2018), an MA in Political, Legal, and Economic Philosophy from the University of Bern (2012), and a BA in Political Science, Sociology, and Philosophy from the University of Bern and Sciences Po Bordeaux (2010). She holds additional certifications in Blended Learning (2024) and University Teaching (2020). Richter has led projects such as ‘Health-promoting teamwork and virtues’ and ‘40 Years of the Ottawa Charter in Switzerland.’ Her publications span peer-reviewed articles, policy analyses, and presentations at international forums, emphasizing legal and ethical dimensions of global health challenges. She has contributed to initiatives addressing health workforce migration, non-communicable disease prevention, and malaria control during pandemics.
