Louise Tranekjær is an Associate Professor at Roskilde University's Department of Communication and Arts, serving as Head of the Language Profile and Head of the Research Group Language and Learning. Her work focuses on categorization processes related to ethnicity, race, and identity, examining their role in inclusion/exclusion dynamics within labor markets and education. Using discourse and conversation analysis, she explores how identities and social relations are negotiated through interactional resources like humor.
