Luca Sanguinetti is a Full Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, and an IEEE Fellow. He leads major international conferences such as SPAWC 2024 and ICC 2023. His research focuses on wireless communications, signal processing for communications, and emerging technologies like Cell-free Massive MIMO and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS). He holds significant editorial roles including membership in the Executive Editorial Committee of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications. Education : - Laurea (cum laude) in Telecommunications Engineering (2002) - Ph.D. in Information Engineering (2005), both from University of Pisa. Research Interests : Wireless communications innovations, Massive MIMO architectures, AI-driven communication systems, and spatial signal processing for 6G networks. His work emphasizes practical implementations of theoretical concepts in areas like holographic MIMO and satellite communication systems.
