Giovanni Felder is a Professor of Mathematics at ETH Zurich since 1996, with previous appointments at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (1994-1996) and as Assistant Professor at ETH Zurich (1991-1994). His academic career includes postdoctoral positions at IHES, Bures-sur-Yvette (1986-1988) and IAS, Princeton (1988-1989). Professor Felder's research spans several interconnected fields of mathematics and theoretical physics.
