Professor Harry E. Ruda holds the Stanley Meek Chair in Advanced Nanotechnology at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. He directs the Centre for Advanced Nanotechnology and leads the Electronic-Photonic Materials Group. His research spans semiconductor nanostructures, focusing on nanoelectronics and nanophotonics, with notable contributions to nanowire growth, quantum transport, and plasmonic effects.
