Dr. Rick Nouwen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, Literature and Communication at Utrecht University, affiliated with the Humanities Institute for Language Sciences. His work bridges semantics, pragmatics, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence, focusing on language-meaning relationships and their applications in human-machine communication. He coordinates the Linguistics Research Master's program and teaches in AI and linguistics programs.
