Chrysanthi Tiliakou is a tenured Researcher at the Department of Mediterranean Studies, University of the Aegean, specializing in Second/Foreign Language Teaching. She also serves as an Adjunct Academic Staff member at the Hellenic Open University's master’s program in Language Education for Refugees and Migrants since 2019. Her work focuses on validity, reliability, and fairness in language assessment, as well as learner corpora analysis. PhD in Language Education from the University of Western Macedonia MSc in Trilingual Translation from the University of Mons-Hainaut BSc in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Her research examines interlanguage development in Greek L1 EFL learners through computational tools, aiming to identify lexical, pragmatic, and semantic patterns. She contributes to international conferences and publishes extensively in journals like the International Journal of Learning and Teaching . Her publications highlight statistical methods (regression, factorial analysis) for evaluating language proficiency tests. She teaches courses on Scientific Terminology in International Relations, Literacy and Language Design, Bilingualism, and Second Language Teaching. Past teaching experience includes roles in Primary/Secondary Education, vocational institutes (Agriculture Department, Merchant Marine Academy), and minority schools in Thrace. Her work bridges empirical linguistics, multilingual education, and corpus-based pedagogical innovation.
