Salvatore Andolina is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Information Retrieval, with a particular emphasis on designing human-centered AI systems for collaborative, social, and ubiquitous settings. He has held academic affiliations at the University of Palermo, Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT, University of Helsinki, Aalto University, and served as a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute.
