Dr. Craig Dalton is a public health physician and Conjoint Associate Professor at the School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Newcastle . He works with the NSW Government and has over 100 peer-reviewed publications in public health journals, focusing on influenza surveillance, foodborne disease epidemiology, and environmental health impact assessment . He founded Flutracking.net , one of the largest participatory online influenza surveillance systems globally. Education: MMSc in Clinical Epidemiology, University of Newcastle Bachelor of Medicine, University of Newcastle Research Interests span applied public health practice, including influenza surveillance, disease burden estimation, risk communication, crowdsourced epidemiology, vaccine policy analysis , and contemplative practices in public health .
