Chen Ling is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Akron 's College of Engineering and Polymer Science. Formerly an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma's Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, her work focuses on cognitive systems engineering and human decision-making in aviation and weather systems , with funding from the FAA, NSF, DOT, and DOC.
