Associate Professor Diep Nguyen holds a position at the University of Newcastle's Newcastle Business School, specializing in Leadership of Human Resource Management. She earned her PhD at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, and has conducted research across Vietnam, New Zealand, the UK, and Australia. Her work focuses on strategic HRM, dark-side leadership, workplace mistreatment, and employee well-being. Her studies address topics such as workplace bullying, psychosocial safety climate, and innovative behavior in public sectors. She actively collaborates with researchers globally and co-supervises PhD candidates exploring topics like unethical pro-organizational behavior and workplace stress. Her work emphasizes organizational resources, leadership roles, and employee well-being. Key areas include mitigating workplace bullying through ethical leadership, fostering older worker well-being via inclusive practices, and understanding post-disaster tourism dynamics. She advocates for high-commitment HR practices to reduce employee burnout and enhance organizational resilience.
