Dr. Christina Savvidou is a Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Central Lancashire in Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus), part of the School of Sciences. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Athens (2013), a Master's in Pure Mathematics (University of Athens, 2008), and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Cyprus (2005). Her research focuses on algebraic and geometric combinatorics, particularly h-vectors of subdivisions and Wilf equivalence on permutations. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Introduction to Maths and Stats, Discrete Mathematics, Calculus and Linear Algebra for Engineers, and Advanced topics like Real Analysis and Cryptology. She has been affiliated with UCLan Cyprus since 2015, initially as an Associate Lecturer and currently as a full Lecturer since 2022. Dr. Savvidou's publications include work on super-strong Wilf equivalence classes and combinatorial structures, presented at venues like the First Congress of Greek Mathematicians (2018) and the Seminaire Lotharingien de Combinatoire (2012). Her career also includes roles as a Special Scientist at the University of Cyprus (2013–2016).
