Jeffrey Frankel is the James W. Harpel Professor of Capital Formation and Growth at Harvard University's Kennedy School and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). He previously served as a Professor of Economics at the University of California at Berkeley and as a Member of the US President's Council of Economic Advisers during the Clinton Administration (1996-99), where his responsibilities included international economics, macroeconomics, and the environment.
