Prof. Dr. Andreas Lange is a Professor of Economics at the University of Hamburg's Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, leading the Chair of Public Economics. He joined in 2010 and held prior positions at the University of Maryland and the University of Gothenburg. His research focuses on public economics, environmental policy, and behavioral economics, with emphasis on climate policy, emissions trading, and policy under risk/uncertainty. He earned his PhD from the University of Heidelberg and holds adjunct roles at the University of Maryland and ZEW Mannheim.
