Dr. Ágnes Abuczki is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Linguistics , Institute of English Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Károli Gáspár Reformed University. She holds a PhD in Linguistics (2015) and an MA in Pedagogy and English Language and Literature (2009), both from the University of Debrecen. Her work bridges pragmatics, discourse analysis , and multimodal interaction , with a focus on discourse markers and their functional spectra across contexts.
