Amiirah Nuckchady serves as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical and Professional Skills within the Institute of Health Sciences Education at Queen Mary University of London's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Based at the Robin Brook Centre, St Bartholomew's Hospital, she is a core member of the Clinical and Communication Skills team responsible for teaching and curriculum design across all five years of the undergraduate medical program. She additionally extends her expertise as a GP Tutor for medical students at King's College London and University College London. Her professional focus centers on medical education innovation, with specialized expertise in clinical skills training, communication competencies, and professional development for future physicians. As a current Queen Mary Academy Fellow (2024-2025), she is actively redesigning the Employability and Graduate Attributes Curriculum to strengthen career readiness among medical graduates through integrated skill development. Dr Nuckchady's contributions have been recognized through the Queen Mary Academy Fellowship (2024-2025), which supports her curriculum transformation work. This award highlights her leadership in educational advancement within medical training. She provides direct mentorship to medical students during clinical skills sessions and coordinates with faculty across institutions to standardize training protocols. Her clinical practice as a General Practitioner in Barnet and role as a GP appraiser for North Central London directly inform her evidence-based teaching methodologies. The Clinical and Communication Skills team operates within the Robin Brook Centre's simulation facilities at St Bartholomew's Hospital, utilizing advanced medical training equipment and standardized patient scenarios to develop students' practical competencies in a controlled environment.
