Michèle Friedman is a Professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 2004. She has also taught at Mozarteum University Salzburg (2000-2003) and the Performing Arts Studios (1994-2008). Her expertise spans vocal performance, composition, and music pedagogy. Education : BM and MM from California State University, Fullerton; further studies at the Music Academy of the West, International Bach Academy Stuttgart, and private vocal training in Vienna. Her research and professional activities focus on classical and contemporary vocal music, operatic performance, and music education. She has served as a jurist and vocal coach for Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). Professional Engagements : Former soloist with Long Beach Symphony, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and National Association of Composers USA. She recorded Lili Boulanger’s "Clairières dans le ciel" (2004) and collaborated with Disneyland Productions. Teaching Activities : Conducts regular masterclasses at institutions like the Baden-Württemberg State Academy of Music.
