Robin Boyle-Laisure is a full-time Professor of Legal Writing at St. John's University School of Law , teaching first-year Legal Writing I/II and advanced courses in contract drafting. She has lectured internationally in Ukraine and China, designed legal education programs for college students through the Ron Brown Prep Program (17 years), and contributed to conditional admissions initiatives. Education: J.D., Fordham University School of Law (1989) B.A., Vassar College (1980) Her research spans legal writing pedagogy , contract drafting , human trafficking , and undue influence in cults . She has authored over 40 publications, including books like Taken No More (forthcoming 2025), and pioneered modular online learning platforms for legal education. Recent articles focus on learning-style theory, legal protections against trafficking, and interdisciplinary collaborations. She has presented at conferences globally and co-founded the Empire Legal Writing Biennial Conferences (since 2010).
