Dr. Carole Hruskocy is an Instructor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Purdue University, with over 30 years of experience in education spanning roles as a teacher, instructional designer, program coordinator, and faculty chair. She has worked in corporate and higher education settings, teaching both online and traditional courses. Education: Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with Educational Technology/ID focus (1999), M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction with ID focus (1993), B.A. in Elementary Education (1983), all from Purdue University. Her research focuses on technology infusion in education and international curriculum development , notably working with primary education in Liberia. Her publications highlight expertise in instructional design , online education frameworks , and equitable access to learning for marginalized populations. Dr. Hruskocy held leadership roles at Regis University (Professor, Curriculum Studies and Instructional Design) and LearningMate (Instructional Design Consultant). She actively contributes to organizations like ISTE, WCET, and AATC.
