Thomas Pasquier is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, affiliated with the Systopia Lab and UBC Security & Privacy Group. His research focuses on digital provenance, system auditing, intrusion detection, and performance optimization. He investigates systems security through provenance graph analysis, developing practical frameworks for intrusion detection (including PROVNET and Kairos) and provenance summarization tools. His work combines machine learning with systems research to enhance cybersecurity transparency.
