Hadi Esmaeilzadeh is an Associate Professor at the University of California, San Diego in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering . He leads the Alternative Computing Technologies (ACT) Laboratory and serves as Associate Director of the Center for Machine Integrated Computing and Security (MICS) . Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology. Ph.D., Computer Science and Engineering, University of Washington (2013) Research focuses on computer architecture , machine learning acceleration , and approximate computing His work has produced 15+ publications spanning IEEE Micro Top Picks , CACM Research Highlights , and ISCA .
