Ross L. Levine, MD, is a distinguished Professor and Physician-Scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), holding the Edward P. Evans Endowed Chair for Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS). As Senior Vice President of Memorial Hospital’s Translational Research division, he leads groundbreaking work in hematologic malignancies, particularly leukemia and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). His research integrates clinical care with genomic and molecular studies to develop targeted therapies. His clinical expertise includes treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), polycythemia vera, and myelofibrosis, performing bone marrow biopsies, and leading clinical trials for targeted therapies. Levine has pioneered translational research programs linking lab discoveries to patient care, emphasizing precision medicine.
