Dr. Gürhan SUNA is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Sports Sciences , affiliated with the Department of Coaching Education . His work focuses on exercise physiology, sports training, and injury prevention, with a particular emphasis on youth athletes and physiological responses to training interventions. Doctorate in Physical Education and Sports Education from Sakarya University (2018) Master’s and Bachelor’s in Sports Sciences from Süleyman Demirel University (2013, 2010) His research explores the intersection of biomechanics, nutrition, and performance optimization , including studies on carbohydrate supplementation, core training, and blood flow restriction techniques.
