Shanelle Foster is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University's College of Engineering. Her research focuses on developing sustainable electromechanical energy conversion technologies, emphasizing manufacturability, reliability, and control of linear and rotating electrical machines. She leads efforts to integrate advanced materials and additive manufacturing techniques to enhance electric machine efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
