Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern is a full Professor and Chair holder for Chemical Process Engineering at the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg since 1995. He serves as a Scientific Member and Director at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg, leads the research group 'Physical-Chemical Fundamentals of Process Engineering', and has held administrative roles including Dean (2005-2006) and Managing Director (2007-2008, 2015-2016).
